Future treatment for those pesky "Floaters"?

Eye floaters are those annoying small dark shapes we sometimes notice in our field of vision. As our eyes age, the incidence of these floaters increases and are much more common. A recent randomized clinical trial published in JAMA Ophthalmology showed that a certain type of laser has been successful in reducing visual symptoms. However, as with all clinical trials, larger studies with longer follow up periods are required to validate their findings and the safety of the procedure.
